Dale grew up a fan of radio, listening to the Cincinnati Reds Big Red Machine as a kid. This led to him graduating from “The” Ohio State University with a degree in broadcast journalism and taking his first job in sales and as the sports director for WQTL-FM in Ottawa, Ohio.

He’s still a big fan of local DJs and high school sports, drawing him to Woof Boom Radio and their local coverage of football and basketball.

Outside of the 8-5, Dale enjoys golf & managing the local baseball diamond, as well as, being involved in numerous community fundraisers throughout the year. He and his wife, Lori, love spending time with their family of 5 boys, ages 29-19, and the recent addition of 3 grandsons to their crew.
