Mariah Dull was born and raised in Franklin, Indiana, and has one of the best maiden names around – Picklesimer. She moved to Muncie in 2010 to attend Ball State University. There, she met her now husband, Patrick, and they married in August of 2014. In 2015, they bought a house halfway between Muncie and Albany, where they live today. They adopted their fur baby, Douglas, a Bernese Mountain Dog, in 2015, and their human baby, Michael, was born in December 2016. Patrick currently works at Wasson Nursery, and Michael loves being a Royerton Redbird!
Mariah loves puzzles and is always listening to a podcast or the radio. When she learned about traffic in broadcasting and how it all works, she was fascinated and had to jump at the opportunity for a position at Woof Boom Radio.
Mariah is a frequent attendee of Shafer Leadership Academy courses and those have really helped in her professional and personal journeys. She and her family attend Union Chapel, where she helps in the coffee shop on Sundays. In the late summer of 2023, Mariah felt a pull to get more involved with the community. In the following months, she volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, joined Altrusa International of Muncie, and started attending Women in Business Unlimited luncheons and events – where she hopes to join the board in the next year or so. Mariah has also joined the Expansion Team for the Isaiah 117 House for Delaware County.
