Kurt Darling is the Sport Director for all stations under the Muncie umbrella at Woof Boom. He joined the Woof Boom family in February 2025 and is also a Business Development Specialist. Prior to Woof Boom, Kurt graduated from Indiana State University and spent nearly a decade in radio news at “NewsRadio 840 WHAS” in Louisville as well as “93 WIBC” and “Network Indiana” in Indianapolis.

A native of Brownsburg, Indiana, Kurt is an avid fan of local sports. As a play-by-play talent, you may see him calling various sporting events throughout the Greater Delaware County area and the state of Indiana. He has a particular affinity for auto racing (especially IndyCar), track and field, and soccer, but always enjoys the high school sports season!

When Kurt is not doing any of that, he enjoys playing golf, camping, and spending time with his wife, Lily. Finally, if you have any recommendations on where to find the best pork tenderloin sandwich in Indiana, Kurt is all ears!
