George dreamed of working in radio as a very young child, even “broadcasting” Nerf basketball games from his parents’ kitchen and recording the results on at least one cassette tape that still exists. But he took a more than two-decade detour into print journalism before joining the Woof Boom family. With a love for telling human interest stories, he looks forward to serving East Central Indiana in new ways as he learns the radio business.

When not at work, George can often be found cheering on his daughter Lilly’s latest athletic exploits or helping his wife Heather coach youth sports.
