Zach Johnson has been a full-time member of the MAX and WERK air staff since 2011. He has also spent the last several years as the voice of Madison County sports on WHBU, where he takes great pride in giving coverage to area athletes. This has led him to, working in conjunction with the Herald Bulletin, being the host of the annual THB Sport awards, recognizing the best in area high school athletics both on and off the field of play. He also is on the committee that helps to select the annual recipients of the Morry Mannies Woof Boom Radio Scholarship. For the last several years, Zach has also proudly volunteered as the emcee of the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s, a cause he has a close connection to. Zach even hosted the walk virtually from the Woof Boom Radio studios in 2021 to keep the streak going.
