The committee which put on canal days is quite pleased with our company’s involvement in the celebration.
Our very own Bob Ulm was the parade Grand Marshall!
We were well represented at the toast Thursday night. Justin, aka Jocko, did a great job during a remote broadcast Friday, during which we had a dozen of the people involved in the event on the air, and he did an outstanding job announcing the parade Sunday. Rick represented WDOH in the parade.
Sorry, Rick, but your request for 1,000 Rick lollipops to hand out at the parade was denied!
Rick and I made more than 350 women laugh and spend a lot of money during basket bingo on Saturday. My equipment was used for a pet parade on Saturday, and we provided electricity for the parade trailer on Sunday. Joe, Stacey, and Kane joined Rick, Justin, and me in representing us well during the Battle of the Businesses Friday night.
One to always follow the rules, even Bob wore a blindfold during a game.
We didn’t win, of course, but when it came to the Canal Days event, we hit a home run.
